Skinny Grilled Peaches and Cream

And peach weeks continue! Here’s round two of the healthy and mouth watering peach treats of the season.  If you haven’t tried round one yet click here for Peach Lemonade Ice.  

Grilling peaches is a super easy, quick and healthy way to enjoy this amazing fruit, topped with cinnamon creaminess and crunchy yumminess of course!  This is a perfect last course to your grilling evening during these fall evenings, and you don’t even have to feel guilty one bit!

Start with preheating your grill to medium heat.

Slice a ripe peach in half and remove the pit.  Spray with a bit of nonstick spray on each open face and sprinkle with some cinnamon.

Grill your peaches face side down and the lid closed for about 4-6 minutes until there are nice brown grill marks on the face of the peach halves.   While your peaches are grilling whisk together in a small bowl your softened cream cheese, honey, cinnamon, vanilla, and a pinch of salt.

 When peaches are done, plate them face up and drizzle your cream sauce over both halves.  Sprinkle with chopped pecans and crushed Biscoff cookie.

Ingredients

  • 1 medium peach (150g)
  • 1 oz fat free cream cheese, softned
  • 2 t honey
  • 1/2 t vanilla
  • 1/4 t cinnamon, plus more for sprinkling on the peach before grilling
  • 1/4 oz chopped pecans
  • 1/2 crumbled Biscoff cookie

Instructions
